Healing is Waiting to Happen

EFT is one of a number of techniques all based on theories of Energy Psychology, also called Meridian Energy Therapies or Energy Medicine.

Energy Psychology

Once upon a time, not so long ago, people thought the human body was like a machine—a bag of parts and chemicals. And if something went wrong, what you needed to do was to tweak the chemicals or repair/replace the part. We have a different view now. (Actually, the Chinese have known about it for 5,000 years.)

What we know now is that a system of energy meridians forms the dynamic infrastructure of the human body. When there is balance and harmony in the flow of Life Energy through these meridians, there is a corresponding physical and emotional health and vitality in the person.

But when this energy flow is disturbed in any way, a person will experience distress. Meridian energy therapies address these blockages and imbalances. And the best part--they achieve relief in a remarkably short time.

EFT -- Emotional Freedom Techniques

Perhaps the best known of these meridian therapies is called EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques). EFT was developed by Gary Craig in the early 90’s, and is spreading like wildfire among healthcare practitioners and laypeople the world over. And for good reason: EFT works.

EFT was developed from the theory that the cause of all negative emotion is a disruption in the body’s energy system. Another way of putting this is that for every distressing symptom we experience, there is a counterpart in our energy system—and can be treated at that energy level.

Based on impressive new discoveries involving the body's subtle energies, Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) has been clinically effective in thousands of cases for Trauma & Abuse, Stress & AnxietyDepression, Addictive Cravings, Children's Issues and hundreds of physical symptoms including headaches, body pains and breathing difficulties. Properly applied, over 80% achieve either noticeable improvement or complete cessation of the problem.

EFT can be seen as a form of emotional acupuncture (except we don’t use needles) or as an almost instantaneous stress management tool. The process of EFT consists of tapping on the end points of various energy meridians while you’re “tuned in” to your distress. I can quickly teach it to you. The entire procedure takes just a few minutes, and many deep-seated problems can be relieved in one or just a few sessions.

      • Often works where nothing else will.
      • Usually rapid, long lasting and gentle.
      • No drugs or equipment involved.
      • Easily learned by anyone.
      • Can be self applied.
