Alluring Anti-Aging Benefits of Inversion Therapy

Inversion therapy is nothing new. It is known that Hippocrates, the “father of western medicine,” hung one of his patients upside down for a dose of spinal traction in 400BC. There are other benefits as well. Namely decompression and traction of the spine and pelvis, treatment of back and neck pain, increased blood flow and circulation, improved bodily system function and improved cerebral function. These are only a couple of its significant benefits but we want to talk about inversion therapy´s advantages for beauty.

Inversion or the placement of the feet above the head or the body at a downwards angle, has been toted for the last decades to have alluring anti-aging benefits such as gently reversing the effect of gravity on face and body wrinkles, increased circulation to the scalp resulting in better-nourished hair follicles, improved posture and improved blood flow resulting in a healthy “glow.”
